Palin: “American Crony Capitalism Brings Jobs to Finland”

Posted in Commentary with tags , , , , , , , , , , on October 21, 2011 by Papa Grizzly

Published on Facebook by Sarah Palin on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 1:09 p.m.

“Yesterday, another shoe dropped in the chronicles of the Obama administration’s crony capitalism. A start-up electric car company with ties to Al Gore got a $529 million loan guarantee from Obama’s Department of Energy to build luxury electric cars…in Finland! Leaving aside the fact that to date only two of these $97,000 cars have been sold (one of them to a movie star), we might at least hope that this ridiculous exercise in the government picking winners minus any competitive, transparent process (Al Gore’s venture cap firm) and losers (the taxpayers subsidizing a car no one wants) would produce manufacturing jobs in the United States. Isn’t that the alleged purpose of Obama’s stimulus giveaways?

It’s bad enough that we borrow money from foreign countries to give to foreign countries. Now we borrow from foreign countries to finance jobs in foreign countries. (This kind of reminds me of the $2 billion assistance President Obama provided Brazil for their off-shore energy developments, while shutting down or blocking much of our own off-shore domestic drilling. He’s in favor of energy jobs in Brazil. But in America? Not so much.)

Do you think, as the President tours the country campaigning on the taxpayer’s dime, he understands that voters in Finland won’t get to decide whether or not he keeps his job in 2012, but voters in Michigan and Ohio sure will? In fact, I’m sure the millions of unemployed workers in every state will want to learn why the Obama administration gave half a billion dollars to finance “green” cars built in Finland.

While they’re at it, the geniuses in the White House could also explain the $1.2 billion they gave to SunPower, a company that makes Solyndra look like a blue chip stock. SunPower’s market capitalization is $800 million, but the company is in debt $820 million. What a great investment, huh? Your tax dollars at work, America! If President Obama wants answers about this, he better act fast because his Department of Energy was already caughtrevising history by scrubbing SunPower’s name out of old DOE press releases. The President should start by asking Democrat Congressman George Miller about the company. Rep. Miller was the leading advocate for giving money to SunPower, which hired his son as a lobbyist.

When President Obama signed his nearly trillion dollar stimulus boondoggle into law, he mortgaged our children’s future. And for what? Financing jobs in Finland? Propping up near bankrupt companies with connections to congressmen? For this we are burying ourselves in a mountain of debt?

This crony capitalism has to end. We don’t want it. We can’t afford it. And we must not tolerate it anymore. Wake up, America, before it’s too late.”

Appearing on FNC’s “On the Record w/ Greta Van Susteren” immediately following the eighth Republican debate of the 2012 presidential primary campaign process, former Governor of Alaska and Fox News Contributor Sarah Palin indicated that only Newt Gingrich offered any substance, rising above the bickering of the others. She also expressed that none of the seven on stage has risen to the top, but that these debates are still valuable as “the conventional tool” to help vet candidates before the general election.

Video: A Rumble Felt in Anchorage, Alaska

Posted in News, Video with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 11, 2011 by Papa Grizzly

On Columbus Day, Monday, October 10, 2011, shock waves rolled through the country causing quite a rumble to be felt in Anchorage, Alaska as members of “Sarah Palin’s Earthquake” telephoned into the Bob and Mark Show.

These concerned citizens of the United States are not happy with the Obama Administration nor are they excited by any of the current Republican candidates for President. By calling radio programs, sending postcards and letters to Palin’s office in Wasilla, AK, and building an army through social networking Internet sites, the grassroots organization seeks to gain Governor Palin’s attention. By demonstrating such fervent support, they hope to encourage Palin to reconsider her decision not to seek the presidency.

The name “Sarah Palin’s Earthquake” refers to Palin stating on the Bob and Mark Show it would “take an earthquake the size of the ’64 Great Quake” for her to change her mind. Bob and Mark asked the former Governor of Alaska, best-selling author, and Fox News Contributor to call the show if a quake the magnitude of “10.3″ happens.

Below is an audio montage of some of the “Earthquake” callers to the show…

On Thursday, October 6, 2011 Governor Sarah Palin made an appearance on the Alaskan radio program, The Bob and Mark Show. During this conversation Palin made the suggestion it would “take an earthquake the size of the ’64 Great Quake” to reconsider running for President, joking with the hosts it would have to be of a “10.3” magnitude. On Thursday, October 6, 2011 Governor Sarah Palin made an appearance on the Alaskan radio program, The Bob and Mark Show. They discussed the reason why Palin is not running for President and what she believes are America’s greatest challenges and how she can best help facilitate solutions.

During this interview the former Governor of Alaska, best-selling author, and Fox News Contributor admitted her family was split down the middle over a presidential candidacy. Sarah’s daughter Piper (10) actually came on the show agreeing that her Mom should be running.

It was also during this conversation that Palin made the suggestion it would “take an earthquake the size of the ’64 Great Quake” to reconsider, joking with the hosts it would have to be of a 10.3 magnitude. Thus, giving birth to the Facebook group, Sarah Palin’s Earthquake, gaining over 4,000 members in less than 24 hours.

Currently, there is a postcard campaign being waged. Supporters of Sarah Palin are being asked to mail a postcard with the phrase, “We are the earthquake!” to:

All of the Evidence You Need to Prove Why Sarah Palin is America’s Best Hope for Recovery and Restoration

Posted in Commentary, Merchandise, Video with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 8, 2011 by Papa Grizzly

Dear friends, Palinistas, Mama Grizzlies, Lipstick Pit Bulls, Rogue Warriors, Patriots, and Countrymen:

This has been a bad week for America. Not only have official numbers released indicate that the housing slump is the worst since The Great Depression, not only have thousands of radicals infiltrated Lower Manhattan disrupting commerce and tourism while wasting the City of New York’s resources, and not only have prominent figures such as Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki stated that real unemployment figures are much higher than shown in monthly government reports, but Sarah Palin, a true leader for the Tea Party movement, announced she would not seek the Republican Party’s nomination for President of the United States.

Millions of conservative and independent supporters of Palin are clearly upset. They’ve used social networks such as Facebook and Twitter as well as blogs to express their sadness, disappointment, frustration, anger, fear, sense of betrayal, and general feelings of loss and defeat. Some folks have even reported being physically ill over the news.

While there are those who “respect” and “understand” Governor Palin’s decision, still many more maintain the firm belief that the trouble facing our exceptional nation is so devastating that just having Palin speak about commonsense conservative solutions while campaigning and fundraising for others will not save us from further economic devastation. They want Sarah Palin to be a star player on the field not merely a coach on the sidelines. Frankly, they have no interest whatsoever in any of the other candidates currently running for president.

These believers know the real Sarah Palin not the caricature created by leftists, Hollywood, mainstream media, and the “permanent political class” who all set out three years ago to destroy her. They know what an effective leader Sarah Palin can be. They know in their bones she is the one and only potential candidate for the nation’s highest office who could truly have a massive, positive impact in the shortest amount of time possible. They base this belief on knowing the truth about her record, knowing about her accomplishments in Alaska, having read her books and commentaries, and having seen or heard her speeches in their entirety.

Thanks to filmmaker Stephen K. Bannon and Victory Film Group, the powerful, awe-inspiring documentary about Sarah Palin’s unprecedented rise to political prominence, “The Undefeated,” is available on DVD at Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, Blockbuster, and online via sites such as Amazon.

We strongly urge all concerned Americans to purchase and watch “The Undefeated.” We suggest that you hold viewing parties for family, friends, and associates. We encourage you to make additional purchases for gifts. The truth about Sarah Palin must be told and become common knowledge.

As more grassroots efforts (such as “We are the Earthquake”) grow to have Sarah Palin reconsider her decision on the presidency, please don’t hesitate to become involved. You have a voice!

By clicking the image below, you will be taken directly to Amazon to make a purchase of “The Undefeated.” Thank you for your support and for everything that you do to help make America become great again!
